The Museum of Contemporary Art specializes in modern art and the University of Arizona Museum of Art holdings include a large Mark Rothko, a Jason Pollack drip painting, Georgia O’keeffe, and Willem de Koonig. The Tucson Museum of Art holdings include three Marsden Hartleys and a major Arthur Dove. Mark Sublette Modern located within Medicine Man gallery features works by Josef Albers, Rotraut Moquay, Martha Braun, Fred Borchert and Lynette Jennings.
